The Chevrolet Capitol AA Series was a car of the lower middle class , the only model year 1927 Chevrolet as the only model and successor of the Superior Series V was made. The vehicle was introduced in January 1927 and was available with eight different bodies as a 2-seat roadster, 2-seat coupé, 2 or 4-seat sports convertible (= coupé with hardtop!) And 5-seat sedan (coach) each with 2 Doors available. With 4 doors there was the 5-seat touring car, the 5-seat sedan and two landaulets with 5 seats each. Like the previous model, the cars had overhead control four-cylinder in-line engines (OHV). The machine with 2,802 cm 3 capacity developed a power output of 26 hp (19 kW) at 2000 min -1 . The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a manual three-speed gearbox. The rear wheels were fitted with external band brakes.

The sales prices ranged between US $ 525 and US $ 745. After one year and 1,001,820 vehicles, the successor was introduced in the form of the National Series AB .
