Christopher Robert "Chris" Dingman (born July 6, 1976 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played 437 games for the Calgary Flames , Colorado Avalanche , Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay between 1992 and 2008 Lightning has played in the National Hockey League in the position of left winger . Dingman won the Stanley Cup twice during his eight seasons in the NHL - in 2001 with the Colorado Avalanche and in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Career
Chris Dingman began his career as an ice hockey player with the Brandon Wheat Kings , for whom he was active from 1992 to 1996 in the Western Hockey League and won the President's Cup in the 1995/96 season . During this period he was selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 as a total of 19th player by the Calgary Flames , for which he made his debut in the National Hockey League in the 1997/98 season after he had already worked for in the preseason Calgary's farm team from the American Hockey League , the Saint John Flames , had played. On February 28, 1999, the attacker was given to the Colorado Avalanche after he was only sporadically used in the NHL team of the Calgary Flames. With the Colorado Avalanche, the left-handed shooter won the prestigious Stanley Cup for the first time in the 2000/01 season .
On June 24, 2001, Dingman was transferred in exchange for a five-round suffrage to the Carolina Hurricanes , which he had to leave again after only 24 games, as this him together with Shane Willis in exchange for Kevin Weekes in March 2002 to Tampa Bay Lightning levies. With the Lightning he won the Stanley Cup for the second time in his career in the 2003/04 season . After two more years with the Lightning, the Canadian went to Europe in 2006 , where he spent one season each with Södertälje SK in the Swedish Elitserien and AaB Ishockey in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen , where he ended his career in 2008 at the age of 32 .
