Conrad Willem Stoltz (born October 23, 1973 in Lydenburg ) is a former South African triathlete . He is a two-time Olympic athlete (2000, 2004) and four-time Xterra world champion (2001–2010) as well as three-time ITU world champion cross triathlon (2011–2013).

Career

Conrad Stoltz is four times world champion at the Xterra World Championship (2001, 2002, 2007 and 2010).

2004 Summer Olympics

In 2004 he started in the triathlon for South Africa at the Summer Olympics in Athens, but could not finish the race.

In April 2011 he also won the world champion title at the Cross Triathlon World Championship, which was held for the first time by the International Triathlon Union (ITU), and was able to successfully defend this title in 2012 and 2013.

His nickname is "The Caveman". He is married to Liezel Stoltz . In 2015, the then 41-year-old ended his professional career. Today he runs the “Caveman Cafe”.
