Bradley Weiss (born March 21, 1989 in Somerset West ) is a South African triathlete . He is U23 world champion cross triathlon (2012) and reigning world champion Xterra cross triathlon (2017, 2018).

Career

Bradley Weiss was active in cross triathlon for many years. In May 2012 he became U23 world champion cross triathlon (1.5 km swimming, 31 km mountain bike and 10 km cross-country running) in the United States. Bradley Weiss is trained by Dan Hugo .

World champion Xterra Cross-Triathlon 2017

In September 2017 he became Xterra European Cross Triathlon Champion. The 28-year-old won the race at the Xterra World Championship in Hawaii in October 2017.

In January 2019, the then 29-year-old won the Ironman 70.3 South Africa (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) and he set a new course record with his winning time of 3:53:50 h.
