The DAF LF is a vehicle for urban and regional distribution transport, which is manufactured by DAF . Trucks in this class are used for very different tasks, which is why you can choose from different wheelbases, payloads and engine variants for the DAF series LF 45 (6 to 12 tons total weight) and LF 55 (13 to 18 tons). The LF is also available with a local or long-distance driver's cab. The DAF LF shares the cabs with the Renault Midlum and the Volvo FL. The PACCAR engines used in the DAF LF range from 110 kW to 184 kW.

Model year 2006

In 2006 the LF series was revised and adapted to the new DAF XF 105. This can be seen on the bumper and other small details. In addition, the engines have been revised. Due to their higher injection pressure, these meet the Euro 4 emissions standard:

PACCAR engine no. kW PS model series
FR103 103 140 DAF LF 45
FR118 118 160 DAF LF 45
FR136 136 180 DAF LF 45; DAF LF 55
GR165 165 220 DAF LF 45; DAF LF 55
GR184 184 250 DAF LF 55

DAF LF Edition 2009

At the beginning of 2009 the DAF LF was revised again. All 4-cylinder engines now meet the EEV, all 6-cylinder engines the Euro 5 emissions standard without additional catalytic converters. In addition, there are now two more engines with 210 hp and 300 hp. The biggest overhaul was in the interior. New materials and better seats now benefit the driver.
