The DAF 95 XF was a truck made by the Dutch truck manufacturer DAF (Automobile) . The DAF 95 XF was introduced in 1997 as the successor to the DAF 95 . The truck was voted Truck of the Year in 1998 . The model was based on the DAF 95.500, a special version of the 95. This enabled lower development costs . The development of the 95XF was an important motivation for Paccar to take over the manufacturer DAF.
The 95XF appeared in three basic versions:
- Comfortcab
- Space Cab (Comfort with raised roof)
- Super Space Cab (roof raised again)
The 95XF was available in four six-cylinder diesel engine variants:
- 380 hp
- 430 hp
- 480 hp
- 530 hp
The successor DAF XF95 followed in 2003 .
