The A10 was available as a panel van with seven cubic meters of cargo space and a minibus , but also as a chassis with an engine and with or without a driver's cab .

A four-cylinder Hercules 2.18ll IXB-3 gasoline engine from Hercules Engine Components with upright valves with an output of 34 kW (46 hp) at 3200 rpm with a three-speed manual transmission took over the drive . The payload was one ton.

From 1953 there was also a pickup version , of which a total of 370 pieces were produced. In 1955 the type designation changed to DAF 300 for small vans and DAF 400 for pickups, each with a capacity of 1.5 tons. The pickup was produced as the D 400 B ambulance for the Dutch army .
