The DAF 33 was a small car from the Dutch company DAF , which was built from 1967 to 1974 at the Born plant (now NedCar ). In terms of appearance and technology, it differed little from its predecessor, the DAF 32 .
In 1966 the Michelotti- designed DAF 44 was introduced, which was slightly larger than the Daffodil, but the 33, whose development costs had long been amortized, remained in production with the new name until 1974.
The DAF 33 had a two-cylinder boxer engine with 0.75 l displacement and 30 hp (22 kW) and, like all DAFs, the continuously variable, belt-driven Variomatic automatic .
