DFB referee of the year
The title of referee of the year has been awarded by the German Football Association (DFB) since 1975. Since the 2003/2004 season , the title of referee of the year has also been awarded.
The record holder of the men's title is Markus Merk with seven honors. Bibiana Steinhaus leads the women with seven honors.
