David Bredin

David Bredin (born December 21, 1973 in Lüneburg ) is a German actor .

Life

David Bredin was born in Northern Germany as the only son of a painter and goldsmith and of the graphic artist, sculptor and designer Achim Bredin . At the age of 13 he ended up in the Swabian Alb for two years . With his father he moved on to Düsseldorf , where he did his community service. He moved on to Cologne , where he lived until 1997.

After all, due to his artistic ambitions, he saw no other option than to move to Berlin. At first he wanted to follow in his parents' footsteps and devote himself to the fine arts, but failed. Instead, he got to know acting more by chance and used the chance to make art that had nothing to do with his parents. From 1998 to 2001 he attended drama school at the European Theater Institute in Berlin .

In 2004 Bredin played the leading role of the music producer Chabo in the play Greedy by Nicolai Borger .

His tooth gap, tough looks and humor quickly earned him roles in movies like Status Yo! , The fat years are over , Free Rainer - Your television is lying or Deutschland 09 ein . In addition to the cinema successes, Bredin also repeatedly supports German series formats such as Der Tatortreiniger , Coast Guard , SOKO Leipzig or Tatort .
