This article lists the nominations and the winners of the German Television Award in the Best Actress Supporting Role category from 1999 to 2009. The winners were determined in a secret vote by an independent jury.

history

From 1999 to 2009, actresses who worked as supporting actress in films or series were always honored under the category Best Actress Supporting Role . An exception was in 2007, when the two categories Best Actress Supporting Role and Best Actor Supporting Role were merged to form the Best Actor Supporting Role category . Each year one award winner was determined from three nominations, but in 2007 from five nominations.

This article deals solely with the categories in which the actresses appeared as supporting actress in films and series. The article German TV Award / Best Actress deals with the categories in which the actresses have starred in films and since 2016 also in series. The series leading actresses and their categories were previously honored individually from 1999 to 2006 and are dealt with in the article German TV Award / Best Actor Series .
