Dibbersen is a district of the city of Buchholz in the Nordheide in the district of Harburg near Hamburg in Lower Saxony . Since the territorial reform in 1972, the formerly independent municipality of Dibbersen has belonged to the city of Buchholz.
Location and traffic
Dibbersen is the northernmost village of Buchholz in the north heath. The site is bordered on the north by the municipality Rosengarten proper place Emsen , Nenndorf and Eckel , on the south by the Buchholz district of Steinbeck and on the west by Wenzendorf and in the northwest on the the communities Neu Wulmstorf counting place Mienenbuttel . Dibbersen is located directly on the Autobahn 1 with the junction of the same name and has a direct connection to the A 261 and A 7 towards the port of Hamburg via the Buchholzer Dreieck . The federal highway 75 led through the middle of the village until a bypass was finally implemented in 2014 after decades of discussion .
West of Dibbersen in the Rosengarten Regional Park is the Stuvenwald, a popular local recreation and excursion area.

history
On July 1, 1972, Dibbersen was incorporated into the town of Buchholz in the north heath.
Landmark
The landmark of the place is the historic windmill , which was restored in 2007 . This can be booked for events and civil weddings .
Village renewal
As part of the village renewal program of the state of Lower Saxony, the townscape of Dibbersens was renewed.
The renewal is funded on the basis of the " Directive on the granting of grants for integrated rural development " with the participation of the European Union . The Office for Rural Development at the Authority for Geoinformation, Rural Development and Real Estate ( GLL ) is responsible for supervising the funding . The aim of the measure is to preserve and maintain the existing village structures. Support is given to communities as well as private individuals who, for example, modernize their buildings as part of village renewal planning and further develop the “architectural language” typical of the village. The Buchholz towns of Dibbersen with Dangersen , as well as the neighboring towns of Emsen and Langenrehm, have been included in this program as a so-called village network.
The plans for the renewal of the village were carried out together with the residents of Dibbersen and their Dangersen district. Various working groups have been formed for this purpose . Various projects such as the dismantling of the former B75 were carried out as part of the village renewal.

Dibbersen has a local council . He is heard about all major changes in the village, but only has decision-making power within his own small budget. The Buchholz city council is responsible for all fundamental decisions . The local council currently consists of 7 members (as of September 2016): CDU (4 seats), SPD (2 seats) and Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen (1 seat),
The local mayor is Christian Horend (CDU).
The election period is usually five years and is therefore expected to last until 2021.
Education and culture
Educational institutions
There is no public primary school in Dibbersen. Primary school students go to the Heideschule in Buchholz after the school catchment area borders . However, there is the private Christliche-Schule-Nordheide (CSN) (formerly August-Hermann-Francke-Schule), which enables the entire spectrum of a school career from elementary school to high school graduation.
There are also two day-care centers in Dibbersen , and a third is being planned.

In Dibbersen there is a rifle club that organizes the shooting festival every year.
fire Department
The volunteer fire brigade plays an important role in the village community . About 70 citizens volunteer here. One of the main areas of application is the nearby motorway . In addition to the classic tasks, the fire brigade organizes the Easter fire every year and, through the youth fire brigade, offers the local children and young people a point of contact and forms an important social pillar.
Economy and Transport

For a long time, Dibbersen was shaped by the B75 that ran through the town and around which several retail businesses had settled. Most of the companies have given up their location since their relocation and the associated sharp decline in through traffic and thus potential customers. A hotel with an attached restaurant and brewery, a laminate trade and a McDonalds restaurant with a gas station with a car wash are still in the village.
To the south of the location between Kreisstraße 13 and Bundesstraße 75 , the city of Buchholz has designated extensive commercial areas ( commercial area II Vaneser Heide ) since the 2000s , which are currently fully occupied. Small and medium-sized companies in particular have settled here. Mention should be made here of the building materials trade Bauwelt Delmes Heitmann, a dance school for a wide variety of craft businesses and service providers such as architects, engineers and lawyers as well as event technicians such as GrohPa Veranstaltungstechnik . Retail businesses such as a bicycle center as well as the hunting and leisure equipment dealer Frankonia can also be found here. Larger companies are MHG Heiztechnik , the medium-sized printing company Beisner Druck , Schneekoppe , the textile producer Brands Fashion, Lühmann Stahlbau, the body builders Grundt and Moetefindt and MDS Messebau. A total of around 60 companies are at home here.
Another industrial park has been under construction since 2019, the TIP Nordheide technology and innovation park . A lighthouse project is being implemented here by the WLH economic development agency in the Harburg district , which already operates a facility specifically for start-ups with the Isi start-up center. High-quality commercial space is being created for companies with an affinity for technology, research and innovation, which can exchange and cooperate in a campus that is being developed at the same time with branches of different research institutions . Equipment as a pilot area with 5G technology is being planned.
