The twelfth season of the American animated series The Simpsons was broadcast from November 1, 2000 to May 20, 2001 on the US broadcaster Fox . The German-language free TV first broadcast was broadcast by ProSieben from September 24, 2001 to February 18, 2002.
The season was released on August 18, 2009 in the United States and October 1, 2009 in Germany on DVD.

When this is removed, Homer turns into a very intelligent fellow and realizes the disadvantages that can have. Only with Lisa does he suddenly get along much better. Homer then wants to be the same as before. To do this, Moe pounds crayons through his nose and into his brain. | ||||||||

Marge takes on an inmate who obviously has great talent. He uses his talent not only in painting, but also in his lies. Marge arranges for Jack to be paroled. Finally, Jack is supposed to paint a school wall, and there are differences of opinion between him and Principal Skinners. After Jack sets fire to his painting and Skinner's car, he goes back to jail. Meanwhile, Homer takes on all of the Springfield chiropractors. He has developed a healing method whereby the patient has to fall with his back over a garbage can. | ||||||||

Jeff Albertson (comic book seller) has a heart attack at an autograph session, so Bart and Milhouse step in to keep his shop running. Milhouse speculates and there is a fight between Bart and him.
