Digby Martland (born November 9, 1942 ) is a retired British racing car driver .

Career

Digby Martland celebrated success as a sports car driver in the second half of the 1960s . The name Martland is closely connected with racing vehicles from Chevron , with which it almost exclusively competed. Between 1965 and 1970 he achieved seven overall and five class wins.

He secured his first win in 1966 on a Chevron B3 at a national race at Oulton Park , the last on the same circuit in 1967 on a B6 . In between he played both national and international events.

He competed in the Daytona 24-hour race , in Le Mans and in almost all of the major European endurance races of the 1960s.
