Držovice ( German Držowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located north of Prostějov , 15 kilometers southwest of Olomouc and belongs to the Okres Prostějov .
history
The village was first mentioned in 1141. From 1950 to 1954 and from 1976 to 2006 Držovice was a district of the south-western neighboring town of Prostějov .
