history

Alojzov was founded in 1783. Finds of an early settlement were made on Goldštýn (Goldstein) between Alojzov and Určice, which stretched from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age to the Germanic and Slavic settlement phase.

To the southeast lie the deserted areas of Mitrova and Mitrůvek, these settlements were destroyed in the 15th century by Matthias Corvinus' troops. In the southwest there is another desert, Lhoty. The area had belonged to the Proßnitz property of the Liechtensteiners since 1595 , who had the new settlement built in the 18th century in order to allow the fallow lands of the villages Mitrova, Mitrůvek and Lhoty to be cultivated again. On March 20, 1783, Prince Alois von Liechtenstein , with the consent of the Plumenau Council, laid out the settlement that was named after the Prince. After the abolition of patrimonial in 1848, Alojzov first became part of the Seloutek municipality in the Plumenau district. On September 13, 1888, a major fire destroyed 28 buildings. When Okres Prostějov was formed in 1922 , Alojzov came to this district and became an independent municipality. In 1930 282 people lived in the place. In the course of the territorial reforms of 1960, Alojzov was incorporated into Určice . In 1980 Alojzov had 243 inhabitants. Since March 1st, 1990 the place is independent again.
