Ivaň (German Eiwan ) is a municipality with 472 inhabitants in the Czech Republic.
geography
Ivaň is 208 m above sea level. M. at the Vicklyčka ditch three kilometers west of the town of Tovačov . The village is located in the Moravian Hanna Plain between the Blata and Valová rivers .
history
The village was first mentioned in 1359 as Ewany . In the further course of its history the place belonged to Olomouc patricians and from 1371 to the noble family of Cimburk . It was part of the Tovačov rule and fell to the Pernstein family in the 16th century .
