action
In the beyond there is a martial arts tournament of Dai-Kaio and Son-Goku and Paikuhan face each other in the final. In the meantime, a teenager should swap the soul cleansing machine tanks and instead keep listening to music and forget about it. Suddenly the machine explodes and all the evil energies that were in the machine get into the boy, who mutates into a huge and fat demon named Janemba. Janemba causes chaos and havoc in the underworld and also opens the door between the hereafter and the world of the living.
This is how the dead come into the realm of the living, which Videl, Gohan, Trunks and Son-Goten fight against. The Dai-Kaio sends Son-Goku and Paikuhan to Enma Daio , the lord of the underworld, to free him. Goku seems to be able to win against Janemba. When the demon seems to be defeated, he transforms into a smaller but stronger opponent, against whom Son-Goku has a much harder time, even as a three-time Super Saiyan. Finally, Vegeta intervenes in the fight, which has his body back and saves Goku. But even together they are powerless against Janemba, so that Son-Goku sees a merger as the only solution. Vegeta initially refuses to merge with him, but changes his mind and merges with Son Goku. The perfect fusion fails because Vegeta made a mistake. You don't come up against Janemba in the shape of a fat little fighter. The fusion breaks up after 30 minutes and both fuse again.
The merger succeeds and they defeat Janemba. On earth, Goten and Trunks feel the energies of their fathers, fuse to Gotenks and defeat the zombies .
