action

Whis wakes Beerus, the god of destruction, from his long slumber. Since he was predicted 39 years ago that he would meet a powerful opponent and he dreamed of a Super Saiyan god, he makes his way to earth. There he wants to find the Super Saiyan God among the last living Saiyajin. On Master Kaio's planet, the two meet both Master Kaio and Son Goku, who trains there. He demands a taste of the god of destruction and competes against him in a duel. Despite his power as Super Saiyan 3, Beerus only needs two blows to take out Goku.

When Beerus reaches earth, Bulma's birthday is being celebrated. Vegeta, the only one of the inhabitants of the earth to have been informed of Beeru's strength by Master Kaio, does everything possible to keep the god of destruction from destroying the earth. Bulma becomes aware of him and unsuspectingly decides to invite Beerus to her birthday party.

At the same time, Pilaf, Mai and Shu, who accidentally turned back into children thanks to the power of the sacred dragon Shenlong, are out on Bulma's estate to steal the dragon balls. However, the three are discovered by Trunks, who tells Son-Goten that Mai is his girlfriend. When the theft of the Dragon Balls bursts, Pilaf, Mai and Shu take Trunks hostage in front of the other, which the group only amuses. Gohan challenges Mai to shoot all the bullets from her pistol at him, whereupon he deflects all bullets with one finger, but one each hits Videl's leg and Beerus forehead. When Videl is healed, Dende finds out she is pregnant. Soothed by Vegeta, the god of destruction goes to the buffet, but Boo doesn't want to give him any pudding. Thereupon Beerus decides to destroy the earth and cannot be stopped by the approaching Boo, C18, Tenshinhan and Piccolo either. Likewise, the Gotenks merged Trunks and Son-Goten and Vegeta are powerless.

Since Beerus slaps Bulma in the face, Vegeta gets involved in another fight, in which he is temporarily equal to the god of destruction. When he succumbs again, Goku appears and asks Beerus for a little time to find the Super Saiyan God after all, which he gets approved. Then he calls Shenlong with all the dragon balls and asks him to give him more information about the Super Saiyan God. With the newly acquired knowledge, Son Goku succeeds in becoming the Super Saiyan God. He succeeds in this by distributing the powers of five other Saiyajins (Trunks, Son-Goten, Son-Gohan, Vegeta and Pan (which is in Videl's belly)). In the following fight with Beerus he was tied with him for a long time, but then lost. In gratitude for the fight and the good food on earth, Beerus postpones his plan to destroy the world and goes to sleep again.
