Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: Attack of cyborgs (ドラゴンボールZ極限バトル!!三大超サイヤ人) is the seventh of a total of 15 feature films for the anime series Dragon Ball Z , based on the manga Dragon Ball Japanese illustrator Akira Toriyama based . The film was released on DVD in 2003 . Carlsen Comics brought out the accompanying anime comics in the same year (issues 37-40).

The film opens with a sequence from Dragon Ball Z in which Dr. Gero , a former Red Ribbon Army scientist, is killed by his C17 cyborg . C17 leaves the laboratory together with C18.
The real story begins with Goku going shopping in town with his wife Chichi and son Gohan. While they are having lunch in a restaurant with their friends Kuririn, Trunks, Oolong and Muten-Roshi, two cyborgs, C14 and C15, devastate parts of the city. They are looking for Goku to kill him and finally find him in the restaurant, which they destroy with explosions. After Goku has saved the people, he faces the strangers and realizes that it was from Dr. Gero created cyborgs. In the fight against them he receives brief support from Trunks, who suggests leaving the city and fighting the cyborgs in an unpopulated area. Against his mother's will, Gohan follows his father and is accompanied by Kuririn.
When Goku and Trunks fight the cyborgs in the northern glacier zone, another cyborg appears with C13. Son Goku learns that all three of Dr. Gero's computer on which Dr. Gero's hatred transferred to Son Goku. Your only goal is to destroy Goku. Vegeta unexpectedly arrives during the fight between Son Goku and C13. From now on, all three Saiyajins will fight the cyborgs as Super Saiyajins. When Gohan briefly intervenes in the fight to support his father, Piccolo also appears, who briefly takes on 13C, while Vegeta and Trunks destroy 14C and 15C. C13 takes two chips each from the other two cyborgs and thus turns into an even stronger opponent.
Son Goku sees the use of a Genkidama as the only way out to destroy the enemy. After his renewed transformation into a Super Saiyan, Son Goku absorbs the energy of the Genkidama. After Son-Goku killed 13 years of age, Kuririn and Gohan are waiting in the hospital for their recovery.
