Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: Attack of the Bio-Fighters is the eleventh of a total of 15 films for the anime series Dragon Ball Z , which is based on the manga series Dragon Ball by the mangaka Akira Toriyama . The film was released on DVD in 2004 and has two predecessors: Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: The Legendary Super Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: Broly's Return .
action
The film takes place shortly after the 25th fighting tournament:
C-18, Kuririn's wife, deliberately lost to Mister Satan at the big tournament. He has to pay her a lot of money for that. In the meantime, a man named Jaga is planning a campaign of revenge against Mister Satan because he was defeated by him in battle in his youth. He has his cousin bring him to his private island. C18, who wants to make sure that she gets her money, also travels with her, as do Goten and Trunks as stowaways.
Jaga has created some artificial bio-fighters with the help of bio-chemical experts who are supposed to fight against Mister Satan. He gets scared and promises 18 even more money if she stands in for him. Son-Goths and Trunks are also involved. After the conventional bio-fighters have been effortlessly sent to the ground, Jaga activates his trump card: a bio-chemical version of the legendary Super Saiyan Broly, which he was able to create with a drop of blood from the real Broly.
While they are fighting, the chemical acid that was created for the experiment escapes and causes a bloodbath among the scientists due to its caustic effect. Meanwhile, C18, Trunks, Son-Goten and the newly arrived Kuririn have to admit that they have no chance against the cloned Broly in a direct fight. Trunks has the idea to destroy Broly with the acid that continues to escape. This also works, but the acid threatens to spread and affect all life. Fortunately, at the last second, the Z-Fighters notice that salt water can stop the acid. Trunks and Goths shoot energy waves into the nearby sea, creating tidal waves that petrify all of the remaining acid. Broly gets up one last time, but he is no longer a danger, as the acid has completely enveloped his body and he now solidifies to stone together with it. With one last attack, Goten and Trunks destroy the monster, this time forever.
The film ends with Mister Satan, who cannot pay C18, has to swim back to the mainland alone and Son-Goku is instructed in the afterlife to calm Broly, who is causing trouble in hell.
