The Ducati 848 is a motorcycle model of the Superbike class from the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati . Ducati classifies them in the group of super athletes .

The 848 was presented on November 6, 2007 at the exhibition in Milan , and on December 8, 2007 in Germany. The sales price in Germany was 14,000 euros including ancillary costs.

In 2010 the 848 appeared in matt black. Shortly afterwards, the revised Ducati 848 evo and the Ducati 848 Corse appeared in 2011 .

The successor model - the Ducati 899 Panigale  - was presented at the IAA 2013 .
