history

In document books of the Lorsch monastery ( Bergstrasse district ), which also had property in Dottenheim and Riedfeld , the place acquired by the monastery before 1170 as a gift from a landlord is known as "Ewa" ( Old High German meaning law, border, marriage ) in Rangau at the limit of which it is mentioned.

By the late 18th century there were four properties in Ehe. The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Neustadt an der Aisch held the village and community rulership as well as the land rulership over the four half -hats . In 1802, the marriage was separated from the parish of Diespeck.

As part of the community edict , marriage was assigned to the Baudenbach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Stübach , founded in 1813 , which is in the immediate vicinity and has always been closely linked to marriage. On July 1, 1972, marriage was incorporated into Diespeck as part of the regional reform .
