Fabio Borini (born March 29, 1991 in Bentivoglio ) is an Italian football player who is under contract with Hellas Verona .

Career

society

Borini began his career at the age of ten in the youth department of Bologna FC . At the age of 16 he left Bologna FC for England , where he played for the youth team at Chelsea FC . He made his A-team debut on September 20, 2009 in the league game against Tottenham Hotspur , when he came on for Nicolas Anelka in the 89th minute . From March to June 2011 he was loaned to the Welsh club Swansea City , who played in the Football League Championship . At the end of the season he rose with the club in the Premier League.

After expiration of the playing time Borini moved back to Italy and signed a five-year contract with FC Parma that him after only one use in the Coppa Italia at the Roma awarded. Borini made his Serie A debut there on September 11, 2011 in a 2-1 home defeat by Cagliari Calcio when he came on for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo in the 81st minute . In total, he made nine goals for Rome in 24 games. In July 2012 he moved to Liverpool for 14 million euros . There he had the shirt number 29 and was the strike partner of Luis Suárez and Andy Carroll .

On September 2, 2013 Borini was loaned to Sunderland AFC until the end of the season.

Borini returned to Sunderland AFC on August 31, 2015. He was given a four-year contract until June 30, 2019.

Fabio Borini was signed by AC Milan on loan in July 2017 with a purchase obligation.

National team

On November 13, 2009 Borini made his debut under Pierluigi Casiraghi in the Italian U-21 national team in the game against the U-21 selection of Hungary . In 2010, Borini took part in the U-19 European Football Championship as the captain of the Italian team. In June 2013 he won the runner- up title with the U21 coached by Devis Mangia at the European Championships in Israel , after being beaten 2: 4 in Spain in the final .

On February 29, 2012, he made his senior national team debut in the 1-0 defeat in the friendly against the USA , when he came on for Alessandro Matri in the 59th minute . Borini was also part of the squad for the 2012 European Championship and was runner-up in the European Championship, but remained unused. His last nomination was in May 2016 for a training camp in preparation for the 2016 European Championship . However, he didn't make it into the final roster.
