The Bartholomä-Amalienhof airfield is a special airfield in the immediate vicinity of the municipality of Bartholomä in Baden-Württemberg . It is operated by the Academic Aviation Group Stuttgart and is mainly used for aviation. The course has a grass runway 900 meters long and 30 meters wide and is approved for gliders , microlight aircraft , motor gliders , powered aircraft and helicopters with a maximum take-off weight of up to two tons, as well as balloons . You can also go parachuting here. In addition to the Academic Aviation Group, the Heubach Aviation Group and the Fellbach Aviation Group are based at the airfield.
