The special airfield Winzeln-Schramberg is located between the villages of Aichhalden , Rötenberg , Heiligenbronn and Winzeln in Baden-Württemberg .

The airfield has no fixed operating hours ( PPR ), the tower is usually occupied on weekends. The airfield is operated by the Luftsportverein Schwarzwald e. V. President of the LSV Black Forest has been Lars Willems since 2017.

history

In 1972, the airfield received permission for powered flight operations , whereupon in 1978 an asphalt runway was built by LSV Schwarzwald e. V. was built.

German championships

From May 24th, 2009 to June 6th, 2009 the German Club Class Gliding Championships took place at the Winzeln-Schramberg airfield.
