Incidents

On April 17, 2011, a Cessna 172 flew too fast on final approach . After the first touchdown in the amount of mid field, there was a Aufschweben and the pilot tried according to the accident investigation by pressing in the elevator to force the machine to the ground, rather than a go-around carry. This resulted in a second touchdown with too high a longitudinal inclination of at least 25 degrees between the landing gear plane and the runway , which led to the propeller touching the ground and breaking the nose landing gear . The machine overturned, broke and lay on its back behind the runway. The 88-year-old pilot and his passenger were killed.
