The airfield Saulgau ( ICAO : EDTU ) is a special airfield northeast of Bad Saulgau in the district of Sigmaringen in Baden-Württemberg .
It is operated by the Fliegergruppe Bad Saulgau eV and can be used by aircraft up to a maximum take-off weight of 2000 kg . Gliders and parachute jumps take place on the weekends .
The airfield is the annual venue for the rock and alternative festival "Catch The Plane". The open-air concert has been taking place over two days since 2009.
