Ms. Jordan is equal to a German comedy - TV series of video-on-demand -Anbieters Joyn and the TV station ProSieben from an idea by Ralf Husmann with Katrin Bauerfeind in the main and title role. The series is about the equal opportunities officer Eva Jordan , who tries to enforce equality and equality between women and men in institutions and in changing locations such as the fire brigade or old people's home.
The first season was released on Joyn from September 23 to October 21, 2019 . A second season has been in production since March 2020.

Production and broadcast
At the end of March 2019 it became known that Stromberg author and producer Ralf Husmann had realized a comedy series with the working title Ms. Jordan is the same for the streaming platform Joyn . The title-giving main role is to be embodied by Katrin Bauerfeind . The filming of the first season with ten episodes took place from March 13 to May 18, 2019 in Berlin . It is produced by the production companies W&B Television and SevenPictures Film under the direction of Felix Stienz and Fabian Möhrke .
As of September 23, 2019, the streaming platform Joyn always published two episodes at weekly intervals. Previously, episodes 2, 4 and 8 were screened on September 17, 2019 in Berlin.
The TV broadcast took place from April 1, 2020 in double episodes on ProSieben . Simultaneously, the broadcast takes place in Ultra HD on UHD1 . Due to low audience ratings, the last four episodes were broadcast on April 22, 2020.

The reviews of the series are rather positive. Above all, the acting performance of Katrin Bauerfeind and the rest of the main cast are praised. The clichéd and one-dimensional characters, such as the mayor's, were received negatively.
