Friedeburgerhütte is a town in the town of Gerbstedt in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

Friedeburgerhütte is about 14 km northeast of Eisleben and 4.3 km east of Gerbstedt in the valley of the Schlenze river , which curves to the southeast at Friedeburgerhütte. Another valley that comes from the north joins the village, through which a stream flows to the Schlenze. To the north of Friedeburgerhütte there is a wooded steep slope that extends to Thaldorf in the east. On this steep slope the road to Ihlewitz winds over serpentines.

The two villages Friedeburgerhütte and Adendorf belong to the village of Friedeburgerhütte .

history

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Adendorf was incorporated.

On January 1, 2010, the communities Friedeburgerhütte, Augsdorf , Hübitz , Ihlewitz , Rottelsdorf , Siersleben , Welfesholz and Zabenstedt merged with the city of Gerbstedt to form the new city of Gerbstedt. The Gerbstedt administrative community , to which Friedeburgerhütte belonged, was dissolved.

Buildings

• Grain bottles , underground bottle-shaped silos in which grain was stored for the former miners. They were built around 1848, at a height of approx. 9 m, the diameter is approx. 4.50 m. The remains of two grain bottles are still preserved.
• Light hole in the key tunnel, during the construction of the approx. 30 km long drainage tunnel, a light hole was built near Friedeburgerhütte.
• St. Moritz church in the Adendorf district, the building is located in the north of Adendorf, easily visible from the main road.

Friedeburgerhütte is located on the Friedeburg (Saale) - Heiligenthal road , where a path branches off towards Ihlewitz . To federal highway 6 , which connects Halle (Saale) with Aschersleben , it is approx. 9 km to the east, to federal highway 180 to the west approx. 11 km. There is also a bus stop for the VGS Südharz line to Ihlewitz in Friedeburgerhütte .
