The Brandenburg State Football Class in 1950/51 was the fifth edition of the Brandenburg State Football Class . After the new second-class GDR league started in the 1950/51 season , the Brandenburg state class became the third division in the GDR football league system. Again, the league was played on a single track with 14 teams. With a five point lead, the BSG unit Spremberg prevailed over the SG Süd Forst , became Brandenburg national champions and rose to the GDR soccer league in 1951/52 . With the BSG unit Kyritz and the BSG Eintracht Gransee , two newcomers got down again. The formation of the company sports associations was more advanced and they had to adopt the name of their central sports association . So there were name changes again this season.
