The Bremen Football Association League 1981/82 was the thirty-third season of the top amateur class of the Bremen Football Association . The SFL Bremerhaven became champions. This was the third time in a row that the championship went to a club from the Seestadt and for the second time to the SFL. Last year's promoters TuRa Bremen and FC Huchting were able to finish the season respectably in third and fourth place.

    Promotion and German amateur championship

    In the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord the SFL Bremerhaven could not prevail and had to give way to the TSR Olympia Wilhelmshaven , among others .

    After no Bremen club was able to qualify for the amateur championship for three seasons, the Werder Bremen amateur team took part in the competition in 1982 . In the first round, the quarter-finals, Bremen played 4: 4 against VfR Bürstadt in the first leg. The second leg was 2: 2, 3: 2 nV for the Hanseatic city. In the semifinals Werder met SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg . The Bremen team won the first leg 2-1. In the second leg it was 3-2 for Ludwigsburg after 90 minutes. Since the away goals rule was not yet applied, an extension was necessary, after which it was 4: 3 for Bremen. In the final, Bremen then met 1. FSV Mainz 05 , who won the game with 3-0 goals.
