The Bremen Amateur Football League 1973/74 was the twenty-fifth season of the top amateur class of the Bremen Football Association . The Blumenthaler SV became champions for the third time in a row .

For the following season 1974/75 a comprehensive league reform took place. The five regional leagues have been replaced by the new two-pronged 2nd Bundesliga . In the area of ​​the North German Football Association , a joint amateur upper league North was set up at the third highest league level . The highest Bremen football class became fourth class and has been called the Bremen Association League since then . From Bremen the Blumenthaler SV and the Bremer SV qualified for the new amateur league.

    Promotion and German amateur championship

    As Bremen champions, Blumenthaler SV automatically qualified for the new amateur Oberliga Nord. The runner-up from Bremer SV was also able to qualify for the Oberliga Nord in a qualifying round.

    As Bremen representative, Blumenthaler SV took part in the German Amateur Championship in 1974 and was eliminated in the round of 16 against VfB 06/08 Remscheid .
