    Promotion and German amateur championship

In the promotion relegation to the Oberliga Nord, the Bremer SV could not prevail. SV Lurup and the amateurs of Eintracht Braunschweig rose to the top division .

As in the previous year, the amateurs from Werder Bremen qualified for the amateur championship. But it did not go beyond the first lap for the Bremen team. The first leg of the eventual winner of the competition, FC 08 Homburg , was lost 2-0 from Bremen's point of view. Werder's amateur team also lost in the second leg. This time with 2: 4.
