    Promotion and German amateur championship

For the fifth time in a row, the Bremen representative, in this case SC Vahr, could not prevail in the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord. The last climber from Bremen to the league was in 1979 the Blumenthaler SV.

For the third time in a row, the amateurs of Werder Bremen qualified for the amateur championship. In the first round, the quarter-finals, Bremen met the amateurs of Bayern Munich . If the first leg in the Hanseatic city ended 2-2, Bremen won the second leg in Munich with 4-1 goals. But in the subsequent semifinals it was over for Bremen. Against SC Eintracht Hamm you had to admit defeat 1: 2 and 0: 5.
