The Bremen Football Association League 1977/78 was the twenty-ninth season of the top amateur class in the Bremen Football Association . Master was Bremer SV . It was the fifth Bremen championship title for the club, which rose to the league after a successful promotion round.

    Promotion and German amateur championship

    In group B of the promotion round to Oberliga Nord , Bremer SV prevailed as first in the table against VfR Neumünster , ASV Bergedorf 85 and VfL Germania Leer and was thus third class. Together with Bremer SV, 1. FC Phönix Lübeck also rose to the top division.

    In the amateur championship , the amateurs from Werder Bremen took part as Bremen representatives. The reserve team of the Bundesliga club was eliminated in the first round against SV Sandhausen (2-0 and 0-4).
