The Association League Niederrhein 1964/65 was the 9th season of the Association League Niederrhein , which was the top division in the Lower Rhine amateur football of men from 1957 to 1978 . This league, together with the association leagues Middle Rhine and Westphalia, represented the substructure of the Regionalliga West and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The VfB Bottrop was Niederrhein champion and was promoted to the Regionalliga West. Eintracht Duisburg , SpVgg Sterkrade-Nord , SV Neukirchen and Duisburger FV 08 were relegated to the Lower Rhine regional league . Viktoria Wuppertal , BV Osterfeld and SV Mönchengladbach rose from the national leagues for the new 1965/66 season . Relegated Homberger SV came from the Regionalliga-West .
