geography

The hamlet is located on the north bank of the Reichen Ebrach and is surrounded by arable land and grassland.

history

The place was first mentioned in the first half of the 14th century.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 2 properties in Güntersdorf. The high court exercised the Bamberg center Wachenroth . The village and township government had the box office Wachenroth held. The landlords were the Kastenamt Wachenroth (1 mill) and the Schönborn'sche Herrschaft Pommersfelden (1 estate).

As part of the community edict, Güntersdorf was assigned to the Elsendorf tax district, formed in 1808 . In the same year the rural community Elsendorf was formed, to which the place belonged. One property was subject to the voluntary jurisdiction of the Pommersfelden Patrimonial Court (until 1848).

On May 1, 1978 Güntersdorf was incorporated into the town of Schlüsselfeld as part of the regional reform .
