Gerlev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Slagelse Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Hashøj Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Slagelse Kommune in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 241 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Gerlev Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Slots Bjergby Sogn in the north, Sludstrup Sogn in the north- east, Skørpinge Sogn in the south- east, Fårdrup Sogn in the south, Lundforlund Sogn in the south-west and Hemmeshøj Sogn in the west .
