Boeslunde Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Slagelse Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Skælskør Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Slagelse Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .
1404 inhabitants live in the parish, 765 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Boeslunde Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring municipalities are Tårnborg Sogn in the northwest , Vemmelev Sogn in the north, Hemmeshøj Sogn in the northeast, Eggeslevmagle Sogn in the east and Skælskør Sogn in the south .
Several gold finds from the Bronze Age have already been made in the municipality , including the gold find from Borgbjerg and the gold find from Boeslunde in 2015 .
