Tårnborg Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) near the town of Korsør on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Slagelse Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Korsør Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Slagelse Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

2718 inhabitants live in the parish, 1856 of them in the parish of Svenstrup (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Tårnborg Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the west Halskov Sogn and Sankt Povls Sogn , the two parishes of the city of Korsør, and in the northeast Kirke Stillinge Sogn , in the east Vemmelev Sogn and in the southeast Boeslunde Sogn .
