Nørrevang Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Slagelse Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Slagelse Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into the “new” Slagelse Kommune in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

Of the 34,015 inhabitants of Slagelse, 8,030 live in the parish of Nørrevang (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Nørrevang Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Sønderup Sogn in the northeast, Gudum Sogn in the east, Ottestrup Sogn in the southeast, Sankt Mikkels Sogn in the south, Sankt Peders Sogn in the west and Havrebjerg Sogn in the northwest .
