Magleby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Vester Flakkebjerg Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Skælskør Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Slagelse Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

513 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Magleby Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Skælskør Sogn and Eggeslevmagle Sogn in the north and Tjæreby Sogn in the east .
