music
At the age of 13, Chris Ehrenberg (founder of the label Auf die Orte ) became aware of Hanna Plaß and began to work with her on her own pieces. At 14 she wrote her first songs. From 2005 to 2007 she was part of the band AnnA , which released an EP and an album . In Munich she teamed up with Tom Bola. Plaß sings and plays the keyboard , Bola plays the double bass . In 2011 Plaß took part in the on3 launch pad . Puls writes about the EP Me and Mr. Bola : " [she] combines jazz and film music influences into indulgent, opulent pop " Plaß himself says:
“I would like to be hip sometimes and electro and small, but it's not the music that I write. It's just not like that. I'm always so bombastic, huge, ... the big cymbals, the big violins and the double bass. Everything great! But I don't do that either to make little, fuzzy tickling shit. If so, then already! "
When writing the lyrics, she takes some inspiration from her uncle, who is a writer and professor in Australia. The name Ginger Redcliff is an idea of her younger sister.

- Note (Album, 2012, AdP Records) Plattentests.de gave the album 7 out of 10 points and wrote " As on 'Me & Mr. Bola', [Ginger Redcliffs] is an expression medium of flawlessly well-dosed pop. Redcliff flirts with radio suitability on the on the one hand and brittle idiosyncrasy on the other. [...] The direction of 'Note' is straightforwardness.
Combination of drama and music
In several theater productions, Hanna Plaß was not only active as an actor, but also musically. She says about it
“I do believe that being able to make music as a young actress is a plus. [...] Music can release emotions that would be more difficult to produce through acting at the moment. So there is often a tendency to use music as an emotional lubricant. This is dangerous. What mustn't happen is that as an actress I always start singing when things get emotional, when acting courage is required. "
