Girls Club 2 - be careful! (Original title: Mean Girls 2 ) is an American television movie from 2010 . The film is the continuation of the film Girls Club - Be careful! from 2004. Directed by Melanie Mayron play Meaghan Martin , Jennifer Stone , Maiara Walsh and Claire Holt the lead roles. The film was produced for ABC Family television.

Joanna "Jo" Mitchell is an 18-year-old confident high school graduate who on her first day at North Shore High School meets The Plastics clique led by Amanda "Mandi" Weatherly, Chastity Meyer and Hope Plotkin. She also meets shy Abby Hannover. This is tormented by Mandi. Jo cannot watch this and takes Abby's side because Abby's father asks her to take care of his daughter. In return, Jo receives a university place.
At the same time she meets Tyler Adams, with whom she falls in love. However, Tyler is Mandi's stepbrother. Through him she learns that Mandi is only so mean to Abby because she sees her as a competitor. Jo decides to start a clique called Anti-Plastics with Abby and Tyler .

Filming for the sequel began in Atlanta in July 2010. Lindsay Lohan , Rachel McAdams , Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried were not reoccupied. Tim Meadows is the only actor who can be seen in both parts.
