Cult Energy Pro Cycling was a Danish cycling team based in Niederanven, Luxembourg .
The team was founded in 2000 under the name Cycling Horsens and was based in Horsens, Denmark until 2014 . In 2001 the sponsor Glud & Marstrand , a manufacturer of cans and cups, got involved in sponsorship. From 2005 to 2014 the team held a license as a UCI Continental Team , with which it mainly participated in races on the UCI Europe Tour . In the 2015 season the team was registered as the UCI Professional Continental Team .
The team ran into financial difficulties in 2015 and did not contest any more races at the end of the season. In August 2015 it was announced that the team would be merged with German Continental Team Stölting . The operating company of the Stölting team , Stölting Ruhr-Profi Radteam GmbH , was supposed to take over the management of the joint team, which for strategic reasons should be licensed as a Danish one. After the UCI registered the team under the name Cult Energy-Stölting Group as a Danish Professional Continental Team, the Danish sponsor Cult Energy declared its withdrawal from the project because the German operating company had not made payments for material, which is why salaries at the end of the year were not could have been paid out. Stölting Ruhr-Profi Radteam GmbH denied the allegations and announced that it would examine how the team could continue to operate in 2016.
The sporting directors were Christa Skelde, Michael Skelde , Luke Roberts and André Steensen . The team was equipped with Ridley bikes .
