Gotham Award / Best Actor
The Gotham Awards in the category Best Actor (Best Actor) has been awarded since, 2013. Before that, from 1991 to 2004, an actor's prize that was not separated by sex was awarded without being assigned to a specific film. The nominations in the categories of Best Actor and Best Actress are determined by a five-member committee consisting mainly of film critics.
In 2013 and 2016, the winner agreed with the Oscar winner in the Best Actor category of the following year.
