The Singha Beer Grand Slam of Darts 2015 was held from November 7th to 15th in the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton and organized by the PDC .
Michael van Gerwen won the tournament for the first time, beating defending champion Phil Taylor in the final.
Qualification and mode
In contrast to other tournaments, the qualification criteria were not based on rankings, but on victories, finals and semi-finals at the major PDC tournaments and the BDO World Championship in previous years. In addition to 24 players from the PDC, eight players from the competing darts association BDO were invited.
The game was played in eight groups of four, in each of which the top two qualified for the final round of the best 16 players.
