About the name
While the name researcher Heinrich Dittmaier suspects the founding of a Huso with regard to the name Hausingens , the meaning of the first syllable is open for Hans Bahlow . It just has nothing to do with a building name ( house ), unlike what Dittmaier assumes, at least with regard to the first syllable Kött -ingens. It is undisputed, however, that the districts ending in -hausen are among the oldest place names in connection with the declining Frankish conquest . This describes a resettlement offensive by the Franks on the right side of the Rhine after the Germans had emigrated to the Roman Empire in the first century AD . It dates to the sixth and seventh centuries after Christ.

history
Also is exciting, geographical proximity to Neuburger Hof , where on the Rosendahl Mountain , a natural terrace to Wupper and Rhine out a burial ground was discovered from the 1st century AD. It points to the course of the first trade route through the Rhineland , the mouse path . This ran in Langenfeld coming from Opladen over the aforementioned Rosendahlsberg , through Schnepprath and past Köttingen and Kämpe to Hausingen. From here, the route presumably led via today's Opladener Straße through the localities of Hagelkreuz and Galkhausen . The route then ran over the Hucklenbruch through the valley road , and on over the Ganspohl to Richrath . This route, called Butenweg from Hilden , connected the Rheingau with Essen , where it reached the Hellweg .

Was traded in 1845 as having from Peru derived guano - fertilizer , with from Chile derived saltpeter , with Thomas flour , fodder products and fuels . After the electrification of Reusrath, a mill was put into operation in 1910 . Today's company still generates its sales with flour and food , with grain and animal feed and with bakery items .
