Heiko Raulin (born November 8, 1972 in Meiningen ) is a German actor .

Life

Education and theater

Raulin completed his acting training from 1992 to 1996 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .

From 1996 to 2001 he was a member of the ensemble at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich . In 1999 he received the sponsorship award from the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater.

From 2001 to 2017 he worked as a freelance actor and played at the Schauspielhaus Zürich , the Volkstheater Wien , the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna , the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , the Schaubühne Berlin , the Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and guest performances at the Salzburg Festival . He worked with the directors Dimiter Gottscheff , Jan Bosse , Karin Henkel and Andreas Kriegenburg , among others .

In 2012 he appeared at the Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich as Hauptmann in Woyzeck (director: Yannis Houvardas). In the 2013/14 season he took over the judge Danforth in witch hunt at the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden (director: Konstanze Lauterbach ). In the 2014/15 season he played at the Staatstheater Darmstadt in a stage version by Madame Bovary . In 2016 he was a guest at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under the direction of Marius von Mayenburg in the social satire Family Business by Alan Ayckbourn .

He has been a member of the Schauspiel Frankfurt ensemble since the 2017/18 season . Raulin lives in Frankfurt am Main .

Movie and TV

Occasionally, in addition to his extensive theater work, Raulin also took on some film and television roles. His film career began with participation in university and diploma films at the HFF Munich as well as in short films. He initially had small roles in the episode film Midsommar Stories , directed by Andi Niessner, and in 666 - Don't trust anyone you sleep with! (2002).

In the film drama Ich, Tomek (2009, director: Robert Gliński ) he played Max, a client and client of the Polish stick boy Tomek. In another collaboration with Gliński, he played the German SS-Oberscharführer Herbert Schultz in his novel Kamienie na Szaniec (2013) .
